SMS Terms of Service
Our text messaging program, in plain language.
This page describes the text messages sent through MOPFY: who receives them, how people agree to receive them, what they say, how often they arrive, and how to stop them. Last updated: September 23, 2026.
Who sends the messages
Messages are sent by MOPFY LLC on behalf of the cleaning company you hired. Every message begins with MOPFY and names the cleaning company, so you always know who is writing and why.
Who receives the messages
Only customers of a cleaning company that uses MOPFY, and only after that customer has given consent to receive text messages. We do not send text messages to purchased, rented or scraped phone number lists, and we do not send marketing or promotional messages.
How consent is obtained
Consent is collected in one of the following ways, always separately from the service itself and never as a condition of buying anything:
- Written or electronic form. When the cleaning company sets up a new customer, the customer fills out an intake form — on paper or on screen — that includes a checkbox to receive text messages, with the disclosures shown below.
- Our web form. Anyone contacting us through our contact page may check the box to receive text messages. The box is unchecked by default.
- Direct request. A customer can ask the cleaning company to turn on text messages, or text START to the number to opt back in after opting out.
Consent language shown at sign-up:
"I agree to receive SMS messages from MOPFY about my cleaning appointments, schedule changes, invoices and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions."
